Dixie and family are doing well. They are cutting teeth and getting into (and out of) everything! Elina is feeding the crew soaked food with goats milk for a supliment as Mom has decided it's time to ween these little monsters at 5 weeks of age now. Dixie's litter brother Rocky is now allowed to visit but has not taken to the idea of the puppies trying to nurse from him... he keeps his distance!

NWNNTC Play Day 2008! Memorial Day Weekend
What more could you ask for in life... A Beautiful sunny day in Seattle and more Norwich and Norfolk Terriers than you would ever see anywhere in the world in one place!
It was time for the annual Norwich Norfolk Terrier play day. Every dog and owner had a great time socializing themselves and there dog's. There was a very nice cake privided by Joan and Gail Hersein the owners and for the dog's fun and games. Most importantly for them there was time to play and run off leash.
As you will see there were a few events for the canine participants and some very proud winners in the "diving for hot dogs" contest. The event lasted for 4 hours but the time goes by so fast when you can watch your dog having so much fun running free in the sun. As it was a bit warm outside but there were plenty of ice blocks with toys frozen right into them which were very hard to resist.
Hope to get the video of our event edited and onto U-Tube in the near future as that seemed to be a very popular way to view the memories that were created. A big thanks goes out to everyone who participated and special thanks to Joan, Mary and Gail for hosting this event and making it happen.

Jack does it again and again and again!
Our AKC Champion stud dog Jack does it again by siring another Westie litter of future AKC conformation champions. This time for Frances and Terry Nicholson of Crownview Kennels in Olalla Washington. Bonita is a Wonderful looking girl with great temperment! The litter is 3 girls and 2 boys who are almost a week old now and doing very well from what I understand. Here is a very recent picture for your enjoyment.
Jack has produced some very nice litters for a number of breeders who now compete with there puppies and young adults in AKC conformation events. They are doing very well thank you and we look forward to watching them grow into beautiful examples of the breed!!!

3 Weeks old now and eye's are open!
Looks like we have either red or grizzle Norwich puppies so far. As the sire Chance is a red and the dame Dixie a grizzle we got what we were looking for according to Elina Durchman, my client and owner of this beautiful litter. The puppies are growing daily as you see and starting to get mobile as well. They have started on soft food now as Dixie has started her own weening schedule. Soon the puppies will be up and around barking and having fun.
Please feel free to leave comments or ask questions as I would be happy to answer any and all of them for you at www.whitediamondterriers.com

NEW PUPPY PICTURES!!!
It's been almost two weeks since Dixie's puppies were born so it's time for new pictures. The two boys and two girls are doing really well. We have had a number of inquiries but continue to welcome more as it is our goal to find the best homes available for them. Our goal here breeding Dixie to Chance was to breed for show quality puppies but not everyone can be a show dog.... In four weeks each puppy will be evaluated for health temperment and conformation. From there placements will be made. Pretty cute arent they...
