Retired Champion Sweet Sara enjoys Roche Harbor and the Fall leaves...

 

 

Hi Chris … Happy Fall!

Doug and Jennie helped me celebrate my 5th birthday in August … it was great fun!  In September I went on a trip to San Juan Island where we visited Roche Harbor.  Wow … those big boats are interesting.   I hear that I might get to sail on one next spring with Jennie and her brother.  I’ll be wearing a doggie life vest … no worries. 

In October I went to Paradise Pet Lodge … all on my own … as Jennie and Doug traveled to Walla Walla to an event.  Imagine … no dogs allowed.  

Last weekend we hopped over to Leavenworth to visit Jennie’s son … Mike and his family.  It was sunny, warm and I enjoyed a romp in piles of leaves in the park.  Mike’s family have a lovely small dog named Paisley …. we have fun hanging out together.  I don’t growl at Paisley … but she growls at me if she thinks that I might borrow her chew. 

Hope things are going well for you and all the terriers.  I had no idea that the world was so big and full of fun.  I am having the time of my life … no offense of course … show dog life was a big deal!

Hi Chris … Sara here ….

I thought that you might like to see one of my favorite spots to hang out in my forever home.  That's me on Jennie's lounge chair in front of the window.  I just love it when the sun comes in on this spot in the afternoon.  I admit that doesn't happen often here in Seattle … but when it does .. it's glorious.

My health has been perfect.  I keep fit with two nice walks everyday … sometimes more.  I like some of the neighbor dogs even though most of them are much bigger than I am.  

Jennie tells me that you and the dogs are having a better year so far … better than 2013 anyway.  She tells me that a couple of the dogs you have been showing are doing well and earning awards.  Good going!!  You're are a great dog trainer/handler …. I just wish Jennie and Doug would carry around treats in their hands at all times like you used to do.   I miss the show dog glory days .. but as you can see I am dealing with it.  

I am going tomorrow to the dog spa for a lovely bath and groom.  Jennie said that I earned some special treatment for Mother's Day … after all I did give that gambit my best.  

Happy Birthday to you Chris.  I hear that you turned fifty this year.  Wow!  May all your birthday wishes come true.  If Jennie and Doug go to see their friends in Walla Walla soon … we'll try to drop by and say hello … if you are about.

Sylvia's Norwich Terriers Sunny and Teddy Barnett, both White Diamond Terriers!

 

 

One of the very first Norwich I placed with very nice couple who now reside in California, Sunny. Sunny has been a wonderful family member to Sylvia and her husband at 13 1/2 years of age now. Still a great example of our breed! 

 

 

 

Not to be out done, brother Teddy Barnett has to also make his appearance. Teddy was Sylvia's second puppy from us here at White Diamond Terriers.

Goucho will not be outdone!

Jet goes to the Oregon Coast...

 

 

According to Ashley, his owner/ handler Jet is quite confident and did very well at his first handling class. Hope to see him at Portland Rose City Cluster! Looks like he had a great time at the beach!

We are still working on the potty training but he knows how to sit, he loves to play ball and brings it back until he gets tired. When people visit all he wants to do is be with them and usually does super dog to impress everyone. Oh, when we go outside he gets the leash in his mouth and he "walks" me! I'll have to see if I can get video of it, it's really funny.

Jet (formerly known as Griz) has his first complete grooming session.

Owned buy Ashley Dibble of Albany Oregon Jet stopped by for his first real grooming. He was actually really good about it and doesn't look too bad either. Should be very interesting watching him grow up and enter the show ring a little later...

Lymehills White Diamond (Haley) goes to her forever home...

 

Doug was a previous owner of a White Diamond Westie who lived a wonderful life for many years but when he passed there was something missing in his life... He and Robbin decided they would like to ad Haley to there family and I know she would be a great dog for them show here with her dog Izzy.

White Diamonds Sweet Emily (Emily) goes to her forever home.

 

After great consideration over quite some time I have decided to place Emily with the Erdmann's. They are a wonderful couple who are previous Westie owners that were on the fence about a Norwich or Westie but as you can see Emily instantly took to them and they to her.. Funny thing was the clincher. Emily was born on the sane day and Jesse's wife. I cried...
