Nicki wins again at Ridgefield Washington

Go, Nicki, go!!! Nicki (White Diamonds Uniquely Dungeness) had a good weekend at the Greater Clark County KC show in Ridgefield, WA. On Saturday, she was RWB (3-4-0-1) but, Nicki's mother Zoe (Ch Unique's Star Spangled Banner) went Best of Breed under Judge Charlotte Patterson. Sunday, Nicki was awarded Best of Breed (3-5-0-0) under Judge Robert Shreve. The best part is Nicki really enjoys the dog shows! Nicki is my Dashiell's daughter. Both Nicki and her mother Zoe are owned by Christopher Larson (owner/breeder/handler) and co-owned by Karen Whalen. Look for Nicki's brother Sunny in the ring soon...

Here are Kelsey and Maddie owned by Marlene and Harlen Hulett.

Thank you!

Merry Christmas EVERYONE!

Hi Chris,

I thought you’d enjoy these Xmas Santa photos of our family taken yesterday. Teddy & Tug (as you can easily see in the picture J) are doing really well and are the “gifts” that keep on giving. Merry Xmas and happy holidays to you and White Diamond Terriers. You’re doing really great work on many levels. Much appreciated. Best, Phil, Michelle, Teddy & Tug

Cricket... and Valerie come for grooming, lessons.

Valerie Wise and her girl Cricket came down from Idaho for a little grooming and a lesson. Cricket is about 10 months old and was a very good girl to stand on the table for over two hours to be groomed. Valerie is was also very enthusiastic to learn as she wants to show Cricket herself.

Looks like both will do just fine in the ring. Best of Luck!

A Special Request....

I received an interesting phone call the other day from a local couple.... Monty and Jackie Rosca ask something of me that there was no way I could deny them of.

There son was home on Military leave from the Marines in Afghanistan and his only request before he returned to service after his Thanksgiving break was to be surrounded by dogs as they love unconditionally and it it would bring peace to him as well... The Rosca family currently has a West Highland White Terrier and I gladly made room in my schedule for there surprise visit.

There son had no idea why he was coming over as they all walked in the door. I explained to him what had been asked of me, thanked him for his military service and walked them into the back yard. All my dogs rushed out to greet the Rosca family and it brought an instant smile to there sons face which made everyone very happy!

Towards the end of there visit I found out they was on his way to the airport sending there son back to serve our country. It was a pleasure and an honor to be able to make this wish come true.

God Bless our Military!

Another New AKC Conformation Champion!

After five 3 point majors and a very brief career Noah has become an AKC Champion. His owners Ron and Vicki Fulton of Yakima Washington could not be more proud.

Another fine job!

Thank you Ron and Vicki  for again trusting me to handle and finish a second Westie and making then a Champion.

My puppy Nicki goes Best of Breed both days at the Vancouver KC!!

At 9 months of age my girl Nicki (White Diamonds Uniquely Dungeness) takes Best of Breed not one but BOTH days at the Vancouver Kennel Club show. This was her first official AKC conformation event. Nicki and I competed against 3 other girls and 2 boys the first day then 5 girls and 2 boys the second day for a total of 3 points toward her Championship.

Nicki has some of the best structure I have seen in a Norwich Terrier in a long time, just like her sire Dash. Nicki is owned by myself and Karen Whalen of Phoenix Arizona.

Its been awhile since I have been an owner breeder handler. In 2010 I had the #1 West Highland White Terrier in the Nation. Let's see how far Nicki will go....
