Henri Update....Great News!

Greetings Friends of Henri!

It is time for an update and we have lots of good news to report for Henri. Last week, Henri had is 4-month internal medicine checkup. His IMHA continues to stay in remission. His labs all showed he is handling his IBD medications well—Mommy is very happy to hear this. It was, also, time to check his immunity to distemper and parvo so we sent sample to Dr Dodds (Auntie Jean) for this—his immunity to both is holding steady. Hooray for Henri!!! Since Henri cannot receive any vaccines, this is a big deal for us. Henri is doing great!

Henri’s internist and regular vet have both been impressed with his hair growth and muscle gain. He has regrown his beautiful, thick hard terrier coat. And nearly all his weight gain has been muscle mass. He looks and feels like a hearty terrier. It is wonderful to see him feeling good and enjoying food. We used to have to hand feed him and we were lucky if he would eat even then for us. Now, he asks for dinner and dances for treats. It melts our hearts to see him feeling good.

Henri sends LOADS of kisses to each of you.

Sincerely,

Ella

Nicki wins the Terrier Group in the Bred By Exhibitor competition!!!

Nicki shows off her truly correct structure in conformation being awarded the Terrier Group recently in the Bred By Exhibitor class over 15 other Terriers in Puyallup Washington. The same weekend she was awarded 1 Major Point and 2 single points toward her AKC conformation championship title which she is just shy of finishing in a very short period of time.

Vincent Van Al

I have an aunt that is a painter and for our wedding present she did a portrait of Al as a Van Gogh.  It is pretty funny-thought you might get a kick out of it.

Alec is a Seahawks fan!

Seen here is Alec (Al as his owners call him) in his new "low maintenance" trim.

Hi there-

Just wanted to pass this picture along of Al in his Seahawks jersey. He is not a huge fan of the sport, because it’s too loud, but the Hawks are his team. He is too cute!

and Congratulations, Crystal and her husband are expecting there first child!

Rachel goes home with her new owners.

At 6 years old its time for Rachel to retire. We found a wonderful local home in the Osborn Family who have promised to love and take great care of her. I am sure once Rachel settles in she will provide her new family great entertainment and lots of love.

Rachel is settling in...

Hi Christopher,

Rachel has done just as you said, lots of pacing, but staying close to us. She

had been out to the backyard with Jack a few times. Ignored the cats

completely. She scratched at the bathroom and garage doors when she couldn't

see me. She has settled here between us for the moment.
