Well what do we have here.... Looks like the kids are getting some lap time. Didn't take long for them to fall asleep but right after that Bart woke up and is climbing all over the keyboard and trying to bite me!

Bart and Kelsey at 3 weeks old

Hard to believe but yesterday Haley's puppies are 3 weeks old now and starting to cruise around inside there whelping box with great ease. I predict they will be crawling out of the box later this week then it will be into a puppy pen for more protection. Bart is pictured on the left and Kelsey on the right.

The kids are just over 2 weeks old now. The boy Bart can walk but his slightly heavier sister Kelsey is still crawling, ground bound... hehe

Super cute!

Haleys puppies are a week old today.

Its been an entire week since Haley had her puppies last Saturday at 2am. Here are there first pictures, the girl is the larger of the two puppies shown on the right and the boy is on the left.

There is no doubt the boys name will be Bart as that's my favorite name for a boy and the girl will be Kelsey after my very first Westie.

Rest in Peace Ch. Kelsey.....

Kelsey came to me 15 years ago. She was my first Westie, first champion and the first love of my life in dogs...

Kelsey had Westie-tude.

It took me a little more than a year to make her an AKC Champion. She lived a wonderful life with me, in my home, cuddled up in my bed and on the couch. She always had a lick for me right up to end of her life. At 15 and a half years old it was time to let her go.... with dignity.  There will never be another like her. I love you Kelsey. Rest in Peace.

Molly...Ollie goes home....

Molly is now Ollie. The Warner family has been in close contact (as that has been how I have made most off of my puppy placements) for some time and it was time for there visit through Eastern Washington with a special stop here. There... well neither of use were expecting Molly to go anywhere but at 5 months old it was time for me to decide if she was going to stay here as a show dog or go to a wonderful forever home. Molly is more a lover and couch dog than a show dog so I decided she would make a better family pet. The Warner family was pretty surprised to have such an oportunity to welcome her into there home but after a night of consideration at there final destination of WallaWalla they were unanimus in deciding to take her home. Ollie will have a wonderful life with the Warner family as there are experienced in Westie care.
