New Ch. Littlefield Cobber Kain
Cobber finished in style winning both his Majors the first two days at the Spokane KC show, he was a very well manored in the ring and very eager to please. Thank you Kris and Lee for the opportunity to show him to AKC Conformation Champion. Here is a little about how Kris arrived at the name Cobber Kain...
I thought you might be interested in this picture of the person Cobber was named for. Carl writes books about WWII aviation so when Cobber came to live with us, Carl thought he needed a British name, being a Norwich. We named him after E. J. "Cobber" Kain, the first British ace to be killed in WWII (don't quote me on that part). Kain was from New Zealand and "Cobber" is a slang word for "pal" or "buddy" there. This photo was taken in France in 1940 shortly before he was killed making a landing in this same Hurricane.
