Walla Walla Kennel Club Show and our Norwich Rachel due with puppies!!!

Well we did not do as well as we would have liked to but our Norwich Rachel who was recently bred and due with puppies in the next two months was able to win Best Bred by Exibitor on Saturday which was nice. Our Westie girl Haley was able to secure Winners Bitch and Best Opposite sex on Sunday.

It was a nice weekend for a dog show though the total number of dogs entered for the Walla Walla show was down to around 750. The weather was very nice and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch with my Father at our favorite restaurant in Walla Walla the Creektown Cafe.

Jill Roarke (Ji Ro Kennels) who is a long time Norwich Terrier breeder announced she was moving back to Virgina to be closer to her family and we also found out that Arlene Marshall who has been in Westies for a many years passed away recently. She was a very bright, intellegent and encouraging woman....

Dixie's Puppies

Picture time!!!

Dixie's puppies are 3 days old in these pictures. There are 2 boys and two girls all over 4oz each. One of the girls is 5oz. Everyone is doing well...
The last picture is poor Rocky, Dixie's littermate and best friend... He appears quite unhappy that he cannot participate in all the attention.
More pictures and updates to come.....

Dixie whelps a litter!!!!

Finally!

After 8 weeks of growth and I mean growth as Dixie was HUGE when I visited yesterday. Delivering 2 boys and 2 girls early this morning. From what Elina told me later this morning Dixie and the puppies are doing well. I have yet to hear what color each puppy is but it will be available soon. I was up very late last night playing a remote midwife by cel phone and everything turned out wonderful... Sure hope to have some pictures up as well.

Good Job Elina and Dixie!!!
