Haley's puppies at 3+ weeks.

I had to move averyone to a puppy pen finally...

I tell you what, Haley being the climber she is I had her locked down with the little ones and she was still able to break out! I had my carpets cleaned last Friday in the morning and guess who was out shortly there after spreading her joy in my living room. It's tuff being a Mom and all the weird things that happens to your hormones and a girls internal medicine...

The puppies are doing great and they are getting very playful as well. Haley is now in a situation where she cannot escape but it does not stop her from trying. She is very defensive of her litter and feels she needs to be on watch 24hrs a day.

Lexi's first grooming!

Lexi was getting a little shaggy up in Kelowna Canada (where it never stops snowing till spring) and Corinne could not find a groomer so with a little guidance she has taken it on herself. VWALLA!!! Lexi looks like a professional took over. What a nice job. Of course her able body assistant and daughter Tess can be seen here show love to Lexi. I know you may never have seen a grooming table quite like this one but if your children want a puppy should they not have a grooming table to add to there shores of feed and cleaning up after?

Haley's puppies first real group photo!

The image you have all been waiting for! The most difficult part is to find a photographer these days because as you can see I have my hands full and yes I am wearing my favorite yellow Nike sweatshirt.
It's been a pretty wet weekend which has allowed me plenty of time to play and socialize these little guys. I will do my best to tell you who is who. The one in the middle is my biggest girl, the puppy on the right is my boy and the last puppy on the right is my smaller girl. My description to you is as you are looking at the picture so the small girl would be under the Nike swoosh.
Everyone is doing fantastically. I would say at three weeks old now they will be in there puppy pen by the end of the week. Haley takes wonderful care of them.

Gracie is getting ancy!

I was able to catch Gracie resting while chewing on her chew bone. Gracie has it pretty good around here. She pretty much rules my 5 month old Katie. They chase each other through the house every night for extended periods of time, playing tag and tug o war with each other. I have yet to find the snuggled up together but the time will come.
Gracie's new owners will be here from Maine the 1st of next month and they are very excited to see there little girl.

Lexi the lounge puppy!

Does it look like Lexi is the queen of her home?
She has been enrolled in obedience classes but with every true Westie presents her challenges. Lexi took over as soon as she walked in the door at her new owners home and runs the house with an iron paw! lol
Her family takes great care of her and I could ask for no better home for her.

Haley's puppies are getting big!

Well if this is not the epitome of relaxation.... Here are Haley's three puppies. A boy, obviously at ease sleeping on his back and his two sisters. All three puppies are doing very well, so fat and happy. They are not even two weeks old and crawling around the whelping box already. Haley has been a great Mother but has figured out how to escape her confines by crawling over the pen that surrounds her whelping box... I have not come up with solid solution to this issue yet but am working on it. THESE should be some wonderful puppies!

Gracies first bath.

At 8 weeks old it was a tuff weekend for Gracie. Yesterday she received her first shot and today was bath day. She was a real champion shown here soggy but clean and just before blow dryer time. Her new owners have sent a care package ahead including plenty of toys and a little body harness for her to get use to. Gracie will be going back East with her new owners Jim and Pat Ayer. They will arrive later this moth to retrieve there little girl. She has been a wonderful puppy and I will miss her dearly...

Haley and Jack's new puppies!

Here is what you have all been asking for.. the little white rat picture, oops not so. These are Haley and Jack's two day old Westie puppies. Mom stepped out so I had the opportunity to get this picture while they were sleeping. If I had to make an educated guess I would say the boy is upfront and the two girls are laying behind him. Haley is taking wonderful care of these guys, I tried to get pictures with her in the whelping area but when I turn on the camera or get close to her she curls up around the puppies as if she needed to protect them. I will keep working on new pictures as they grow up.
