Axel is pictured here in the group on Sunday. He has come a long way from his first handling class not so many months ago... This was Axel's very first AKC Conformation event. On Saturday he was Best Opposite Sex to Gina who won Best of Breed then it was his turn Sunday. Thank you to his breeder Sharon Newsome for entrusting me with his care and his career. You will be seeing plenty of Axel and Gina in the future!
I hope your birthday was a great one. Turning 50 is "nothing". Wait until you turn my age!!! I am enclosing a few pictures of our girls. Can you believe it, they are both turning 11 years old this year. We love them so much and I hope they live long lives because after their passing there will be no more dogs for us due to the fact they will outlive us and we don't want that to happen. They have both given Harlen and I so much joy and pleasure. I wish we lived closer to you so you could see them in person. We have found them a great groomer who also owns a Westie and she sure does a great job with them. So far they are both healthy.
PS: I have enclosed where we walk them every day. Enjoy!
Congratulation to Chester's owners Renae and Gary, also to his breeder Elaine Jong and co-breeder Lee Little on a quick ride to Championship. Chester finished under my care in 3 shows to include a 5 point and 3 point major during the Terrier Specialty weekend at the Rose City Classic in Portland Oregon. Fantastic boy!
