10 weeks old and counting...

The girls are 10 weeks old tomorrow, boy how they have grown and become oh so wise... They have been through my latest pair of slippers and enjoy occasional freedom running through the house. I don't know why but they seem to go strait for Peanuts toys and my tennis shoes, imagine that. The girl who appears to be smaller on the right side of the picture actually has a harder coat giving a smaller appearance. She is my escape artist and toy lover. I wish I could take video files, you would die laughing watching her carry Peanuts goose around the living room making it squeak and the two of them laying on there backs together howling is something to be experienced for sure. The girl on the left is my keeper, I have a name in mind but she is growing out of it. The two of these puppy together find mischief in every corner of the house.
On a different note Madison is getting bigger all the time and it will be next week when I know how many puppies she will have. I know your all as excited to know how many she is carrying as I am! December 11th is her due date!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Henri and Bella discover there new friendship...

Here we have Bella and her new best buddy Henri relaxing at home after a ruff trip. Henri was doing really well according to Jeff till they were all but home and developed car sickness. Poor little guy. From what I understand he slept through the night and did his business outside like any well trained and socialized White Diamond Terrier puppy would do. I am sure there is still a fair amount of adjustment for everyone but Henri is off to a great start in his new home!
Stay tuned and watch Henri grow up, right before your eyes!

Henri goes home....

Jeff Neumann arrived this morning with Bella in hand to let HER decide if Molly's puppy boy was the correct addition to the family today.

Bella works locally as a wonderful therapy dog for her owners Ella and Jeff on any given week with local children providing them with entertainment and affection so it was very natural to want to add another Westie to there household.

I found it wonderfully entertaining to watch Bella carefully check into her new little brother who I believe will be named Henri, tempting him to play in her own special way. Bella is a wonderful social light so every opportunity she got to be outside with our other dog's she took as well.

As Ella, Jeff's wife could not be here today it was very important that Jeff identified the keys to success to make a match for Bella. Henri was very patient, in fact to the point of him being too sleepy to get too excited about her company so we knew there would be very little drama on any given day.

Congratulations Jeff, Ella and Bella!

Champion O Mi Gracious Madison Can Do is PREGNANT!!!

Jack is pictured at the top and Madison at the bottom.
Believe it or not Madison is carrying puppies. Just today I verified this with my vet Dr. Jim Benson of Desert Vet Clinic in Richland.
It seems Madison was able to sneak a season in without my knowledge but that did not stop my tried and true Champion stud dog Jack from figuring it out. This will be a beautiful litter as they have produced some very nice puppies in the past.
Madison is due on or around December 11th so all interested families who have been waiting are welcome to check in and reserve there puppy. This will be Madison's last litter before retirement.

All ears up!

A day before there 8 week old birthday all Molly's puppies ears are standing on there own. As the time goes by so do the number of socks I have to throw away, slippers I have sacrificed and the batteries I have to recycle as it take so much time to get these guys to pose... ok, I am a bit picky about the pictures I take too.
See I if you can figure out who is who?

Almost 8 weeks old...

Looks like it's been a little while since I have posted pictures of Molly's puppies... Everyone is doing very well. The girls are starting to argue a little but what good Westie would not try to assert herself given any opportunity! From left to right you will see the Corrine Peacock puppy girl who I will be escorting up to Kelowna Canada the first week of December. The girl squished in the middle is my girl (formerly known as Yoda in a previous post) and the puppy on the right side is Ella Selfridge's little man who is so well behaved but will stand up for himself if the girls get a little to edgy. This little guy will be going home with his family next weekend.

The puppies are getting plenty of play time in the kitchen, have a full set of chompers (hence my tattered socks and toes) and are so fun to watch, this is a great time for all of us..

Bart finds a new home...

Bart has a new home. As you can see here Lisa Mark and her family are very excited to add Bart into there clan. They were very pleased to find out he was available.

I think the hardest part for everyone was separating him from his sister Jade who remains here with me. Bart and Jade are very happy puppies but its always hard to separate brother and sister. Jade has taken a little more to her Mother Rachel as time has gone by. I am sure there will be an adjustment period for each of them but they will both receive extra love as do all my four footed family members.

It was a beautiful day for the Mark family to drive over from Western Washington. As soon as they saw Bart they were instantly sold as his tail was wagging away with the excitement of seeing his new family. I know Lisa, her daughters and husband will take great care of him...

Bath time for the Westie puppies!

Pretty cute huh? I picked the best of the pictures I had to choose from here... It was not too easy to get these little angry puppies to pose for there pictures being wet and a little cold. Sorry it's been a little while since my last post but believe me when I say my hands are full managing my crew...
The top picture is our little girl who will be going up to Canada to live with her new family the Peacocks.
The middle picture is what I refer to as my fiery girl YODA. This will not be her name but doesn't the picture fit?
The bottom picture is my little guy who will be going to live with the Selfridge-Neumann family. They will be 8 weeks old on the 13th of this month.
