I received an interesting phone call the other day from a local couple.... Monty and Jackie Rosca ask something of me that there was no way I could deny them of.
There son was home on Military leave from the Marines in Afghanistan and his only request before he returned to service after his Thanksgiving break was to be surrounded by dogs as they love unconditionally and it it would bring peace to him as well... The Rosca family currently has a West Highland White Terrier and I gladly made room in my schedule for there surprise visit.
There son had no idea why he was coming over as they all walked in the door. I explained to him what had been asked of me, thanked him for his military service and walked them into the back yard. All my dogs rushed out to greet the Rosca family and it brought an instant smile to there sons face which made everyone very happy!
Towards the end of there visit I found out they was on his way to the airport sending there son back to serve our country. It was a pleasure and an honor to be able to make this wish come true.
